Mr. Li Shudong, member of the Standing Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference of Chaoyang District, Beijing, visited our law firm to inspect our work

On the afternoon of April 7, 2017, three comrades including Mr. Li Shudong, Mr. Gao Lianshun, and Mr. Zhao Shuchuan, members of the Standing Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference and Director of the Urban Construction and Environmental Protection Committee of Chaoyang District, Beijing, visited our law firm for an inspection. Lawyer Jiang Shanhe, member of the CPPCC Chaoyang District, partner and party branch secretary of our law firm, and lawyer Lu Wenjing, organization member of the branch, received Director Li and other three comrades.

Lawyer Jiang Shanhe introduced the development history, current main business areas and future business development directions of Mingtai Law Firm to Director Li Shudong and other three comrades. He focused on reporting on the party building work of our law firm and the development of social welfare activities within the jurisdiction.

Director Li Shudong first affirmed the achievements of Mingtai Firm’s party building work and social welfare work. He also said that lawyers, as socialist legal service workers, should shoulder their due social responsibilities. Lawyers should use their professional knowledge to resolve social conflicts and make unremitting efforts to promote the progress of the rule of law! At the same time, lawyers actively participate in social activities to expand their business service areas.

Mr. Gao Lianshun of the Chaoyang District CPPCC said that the CPPCC is the link between the party and the people. Through visits and surveys, CPPCC members promptly feed back the problems discovered to party organizations and governments at all levels, and provide suggestions for the party to govern the country. Lawyers should use their professional advantages to resolve social conflicts, serve social stability, and put forward good proposals for the country's rule of law.
