Study the spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 18th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China

On the afternoon of October 27, 2014, Mingtai Law Firm held a meeting of all lawyers to study the “Decision of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China on Several Major Issues in Comprehensively Promoting the Rule of Law” (Communique) of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 18th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China. This meeting was chaired by lawyer Yang Tiansheng, director of the firm, and lawyer Jiang Shanhe, secretary of the party branch, read out the contents of the "Communique" and explained each part of the content. At the meeting, each of the participating lawyers and paralegals spoke actively about their learning and experience, and expressed their determination to safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of clients in accordance with the law and contribute to the construction of China's rule of law in the future legal service work.

At this meeting, Director Yang Tiansheng conveyed the spirit of the Beijing Lawyers Association's "Law Firm Directors' Meeting" and deployed specific requirements for the law firm's legal practice, standardized management, risk control and conflicts of interest in the future.

For this study, the firm went to Xinhua Bookstore to purchase 63 volumes of the "Gazette" published by the People's Daily, and distributed one copy to each of the lawyers and assistants in the firm, fully embodying the spirit of "Learning, Thinking, and Working".
