As the Spring Festival of the Year of Dingyou approaches, in order to allow the poor people, old party members and centenarians to live a happy and peaceful New Year. On January 22nd and 23rd, 2017, our firm’s attorneys Jiang Shanhe, Lu Wenjing, and Assistant Yang Ziwei came to Guandongdian North Street Community and Guandongdian Community, Hujialou Street, Chaoyang District to carry out a warm visit and condolences activity. Accompanied by community staff, we visited seven households and sent them rice, cooking oil, flour, eggs and other condolences. We asked them in detail about their family life and learned about the difficulties in their lives. We also provided legal services and legal aid within our capabilities in a timely manner based on the information received.
Lawyer Jiang Shanhe and his party came to Xiangjun Beili to express cordial condolences to the 105-year-old Li Shuzhen and send holiday greetings and New Year blessings to the elderly family in advance. The old man was born in 1912 and now has four generations living under the same roof. Under the care of the party and the government and the filial care of his children, he lived a happy and contented old life. Lawyer Jiang Shanhe happily sat next to the old man, holding her hands and chatting with her about household matters. Although Mr. Li is 105 years old this year, he is in good spirits, has a cheerful personality, and speaks clearly. Members of the condolence team congratulated the old man together, wishing Mr. Li a long and healthy life, a happy Spring Festival, and sent condolences to Mr. Li.

The old party members are a glorious team that once stood on their posts, spent their youth, and made selfless contributions to the rise of China. The condolence team came to the home of 98-year-old Song Shuang. Mr. Song was the former deputy director in charge of production at Factory 3501 and an old party member with 63 years of party experience.At Song's home, lawyer Jiang Shanhe carefully asked the old man how he was doing and whether he had any difficulties in life, and gave him holiday gifts. The old man was very happy and said that he would continue to use his remaining energy and contribute his strength to society.

During the visit, the consolation team learned that 51-year-old Zhao Guiru was a frail mother who lost her only child. Her eyes were close to blindness due to the sequelae of diabetes. At the same time, he has to support his 80-year-old mother alone, who is sick and hospitalized, and only relies on her parents' small pension. This makes the consolation team very worried. After learning about these situations, the condolence team sent rice, cooking oil and other supplies to them, and encouraged them to build up confidence, cheer up, take good care of themselves, and live optimistically. I believe that with the help and care from all walks of life, their lives will get better and better.
