Li Yanping is severely mentally disabled and cannot work or live independently. She lives with her younger brothers and and receives good care from her family. Liu Xiulan is severely intellectually disabled and needs care from others in her daily life. What is gratifying is that in addition to being supported by the government's subsistence allowance policy, these elderly people are also cared for by their families.
